FOUR WINDS TRIBE LOUISIANA CHEROKEE CONFEDERACY

NEWSLETTER
February 26, 2011

The official roll for this tribe is closed as of November 18, 2009 and will remain closed until further notice.
We have purchased a new computer and will be making ID cards for all members with completed applications and in good standing, and with dues paid. Once you receive your new ID card, if you lose it, there will be a $10.00 charge for a replacement. All membership dues are due by the end of March, 2011.
Beginning March 1, 2011, at all council meetings, doors will not open that day until 12 noon. No one will enter the building until that time. No exceptions.
We have purchased 10 acres of land located 7 miles from DeRidder on 190 West. We are asking for donations to help pay for our land. You may mail any donations to the address on this newsletter, or you may stop by our office on Wednesdays from 9 am - 12 noon. All donations are appreciated.
Our 12th Annual Pow Wow will be October 22nd and 23rd. We will only have 1 princess this year. Any unmarried members wanting to run for princess ages 8 - 18 may contact Jackie Womack at (337) 825-8641 or Louise Willis at (337) 306-2012.
We hope to have some fundraisers and some other activities in the spring and will have more details in the next newsletter. We hope to have another great year.
